Hello, and welcome to Nadia Joyce Photography. My name is Nadia Joyce Aikins. I am a graduate of The Evergreen State College. In the past couple of years I have discovered my deep fascination with and love of fine art photography, working with created scenes and ideas or questions that have become a part of my life. Before I left Evergreen, I started work on a series I have entitled Upon Waking; this series is an ongoing process.

I also shoot weddings, portraits, etc... Most of my work is in the Olympia area; however, I have done weddings on the east side of Washington as well as in Idaho and am quite willing to travel even further. I love my wedding and portrait work just as much as my fine art, and I tend to approach them in the same way - paying very close attention to detail, timing, lighting, and expression. I am very emotionally involved in all of my photography, which I believe helps me to create a more honest and intimate image.

A lot of my work here comes from scanned negatives, so I have opted to not allow certain images to be printed digitally through smugmug. If you are interested in any prints or services please email me.
